System architecture
Astute Control is a distributed system applying Internet, GPRS, E-mail and SMS to transmit sales statistics, control commands and notifications of the condition of vending machines. AC-Server program is a central element of the system. It fixes all necessary information in the database for further processing and analysis.
State control and configuring of vending machines are realized in AC-Monitor program. AC-Monitor users have their own logins to enter the system; all their operations in modifying the parameters of vending machines are recorded. The role-based security system makes it possible to establish tailored access rules for each user.
Data communication between vending machines and the server realized via GPRS-channel that offer advantage in cause of low cost of traffic. Self-authentication and data encoding procedures in the course of interaction between system components exclude unauthorized access to any unit of the system.

AC-Server can be installed at PC operates under Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server, having vacant USB- and COM-port. Besides, PC must have and external IP-address (static NAT).
It is possible to use the server of “Professional and vending machines” Company located in Moscow if the client and Company will arranged about this.
AC-Monitor works under Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server; PC must have vacant USB-port. You need to have access the Internet if you are out of office.
